How do I create a game room?
From the home screen, tap Create Room, enter your name, and share the 4-letter room code with your friends so they can join.
How many players do I need?
ShadowRoles works best with 5–12 players. The host can start the game once enough players have joined.
What roles are in the game?
The game includes Mafia, Citizen, Detective, Doctor, and more. Each role is revealed privately at the start of the night phase.
A player got disconnected — what happens?
If a player loses connection, they can rejoin by entering the same room code and name. The game state is preserved in real time via Firebase.
Can I play on iPhone or Android?
Yes — ShadowRoles runs in any mobile browser. Just open shadowroles.web.app on your device. A native iOS app is also coming soon.
How do I delete my data?
ShadowRoles does not require an account. No personal data is stored beyond your in-session display name, which is removed when the room closes. To request any data deletion, email badr.alyafeai@gmail.com.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
